Cheng Xiaowei is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture capitalist, particularly with unique practices and experiences in supporting and assisting the younger generation of entrepreneurs to achieve success. In 2014, after successfully taking his family business public through a share exchange with a listed company, Mr. Cheng Xiaowei co-founded the Fusion Fund in Silicon Valley with American partners. The fund focuses on investing in emerging technology startups in the US market, currently managing $300 million in capital and has invested in over 60 tech startups, making it a star early-stage investment fund that has risen in Silicon Valley in recent years. In 2017, he participated in the establishment of Shenzhen BridgeOne Capital, which is based in the Greater Bay Area in China, integrating the technical R&D capabilities of Shenzhen and Hong Kong universities and focusing on technology-driven startups in the Greater China region. It currently manages RMB 1.5 billion in capital and has invested in more than 20 tech enterprises, several of which have already gone public or are applying for an IPO. In his past investments, Mr. Cheng has been involved with phenomenally successful enterprises such as Wuhan WeApp, Pinduoduo, Grubmarket, etc.
